Microsoft released a new update for Skype Preview Android app for the insiders. The new update brings in general fixes, as well as some overall enhancement.
The app now supports sharing pictures and link form the Android share menu – Select photos or links, tap share icon and select Skype icon to share it with your contacts. Rendering of photos during calls is improved. This update also adds the ability to delete contacts from your profile.
The changelog reads:
- General performance improvements
- Share photos and links to Skype from other apps
- Delete contacts – this ability to add or remove contacts from their profile.
- Improved in-call photo rendering
The update is rolling and the app can be updated from Play Store. Its worth mentioning that the app is currently limited to Skype insiders. So if you aren’t one, but you’re interested in trying out Skype Preview, then head over here to register now.
