Samsung Doubles its Production Unit in India

Samsung India is set to double its Noida Plant to 240,000 square meters, investing around ₹40 Billion. After the completion, Samsung India would be able to manufacture around 10M smartphones, doubling from 5M per month. BusinessKorea reports that the groundbreaking ceremony will start on June 7.

Apple is the toughest competitor in the flagship area and even Chinese brands like Oppo, Vivo and Xiaomi are dominating the market share from 27% in Q1 2016, to 50% in Q1 2017.

Samsung is the biggest smartphone manufacturer in India . The company tends to be more productive even after the increasing market share of Chinese smartphones.

Reports have stated that India will become the second largest Mobile consumer market shortly and these tech giants are sure taking advantage.
