The Finnish cellphone maker Nokia, which was the final word for a phone once had not been much active in the market for a while ever since the Android and other smartphones platforms began to show overwhelming performance in marketing. They lost their glory when they were not ready to accept the changes. Now, the company is back with their own smartphones running the mainstream Smartphone Operating System Android, along with the revamped feature phone 3310.
Nokia, currently controlled by Finnish startup HMD Global had launched a bunch of smartphones this year including Nokia 3, 5 and 6. The Nokia 3 is an entry level smartphones with some nice hardware configuration resting under the hood. This younger sibling of Nokia 5 and 6 has the design philosophy almost resembles them. The device is sculptured with an Aluminium metal frame around and polycarbonate material panel on the back.
The smartphone has a 5.0-inch IPS LCD HD display, with the pixel density of 282ppi. Interestingly, the Nokia has managed to give the least bezel amount on the sides of the display, and a 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass protection on top. The camera department of the Nokia 3 is configured with 8 Megapixel sensors on both front and rear facing cameras. The rear facing and front facing cameras have Autofocus.
The Nokia 3 is powered by MediaTek MT6737 Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3GHz. The memory unit holds up 2GB of RAM with 16GB inbuilt storage, which is expandable up to 128GB through the SD Slot. The purely written Android Nougat 7.0 OS runs on the device, with some Nokia touch on the UI. However, it doesn’t have bloatware preloaded.
The Nokia 3 is boosted with a 2630 mAh battery pack, which is quite an above average size for an entry-level smartphone. The device supports 4G LTE network, along with WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and a micro USB 2.0 port. The Nokia 3 smartphone is expected to carry a price tag of 9,999 INR in India, according to the sources. The Colour variants that are listed by the company are Tempered Blue, Silver, Matte Black and Copper.
