Whatsapp removed the popular status feature and added many other things to their app. But the removal of the text status support wasn’t a great idea. Many people complained Whatsapp regarding the issue. Now, a new update is available for the Whatsapp beta app for Windows Phone devices. The update contains the old text status feature as ABOUT.
The latest version of the Whatsapp app is 2.17.98.0, and you can download it right now on your phone. The “Old Status” Option has now been renamed as “About” and can be found on the Profile page.
