November last year we reported about TD Bank adding support for Microsoft Wallet, along with the news that Chase Bank and Fifth Third Bank will too support the same in 2017. True to the words, Fifth Third Bank has announced they are going to add support for digital payment on all major mobile platforms.
“At a time when more consumers want to make mobile payments, Fifth Third is pleased to be one of the first banks to offer all five mobile payment options. We are committed to providing secure and convenient ways for our customers to bank when and how they want.” – Greg Carmichael, CEO and President, Fifth Third Bancorp.
Fifth Third Bank already supports Masterpass, Apple Pay, and Samsung Pay while Android Pay and Microsoft Wallet is listed as coming soon on its website. When available, the instructions to set up digital payment for Microsoft Wallet can be found here at its official site.
Microsoft Wallet offers the ease of contactless payment to users without compromising their security. You can store multiple cards in a single place and use them at over a million places. However, this facility is only available in US, that too on selected phones only. You can check for compatible phones here.
