WhatsApp Beta Version 2.16.300 for Windows 10 Mobile brings performance improvements

Today WhatsApp has pushed out another update for their Beta version on Windows 10 Mobile. While this update doesn’t bring any new features for the service, at least not one I have discovered already, it seems to take care on one of the most annoying problems users have reported lately. Since a few versions of WhatsApp the app pretty slow on the startup, with the latest version, 2.16.300, this problem seems to be fixed or latest it has been improved.

The Microsoft Lumia 950 is one of the best equipped Windows 10 Mobile devices and yet WhatsApp took a while until it completely started. With the latest version installed it seems faster. It might be only me, but feel free to drop us a comment below with your thoughts on this update and if you think it is faster or not.

Not only the beta versions receives new updates regularly but also the official one in the Windows 10 app store. With the latest version for the official WhatsApp app it should be possible now for everyone to do video calls with the app.

If you haven’t received the update yet check for updates in the app store or click on the link below in order to download the latest version of WhatsApp. Also worth mentioning might be the fact that you can use WhatsApp Beta and WhatsApp on one phone which might be very helpful if you use a dual SIM device and want to use WhatsApp with two different numbers. Hopefully WhatsApp will add the ability to use their service with multiple numbers in the future.
