At the beginning of Microsofts history with the Surface device, no one ever believed that this will be a successful device anytime soon. NOw at the end of 2016 Microsoft has released the fourth generation of their Surface row already and it gets more and more successful. Even a great revenue for the company is drive by the Surface row, if the same will count for phones once Microsoft releases its first Surface branded smartphone, well no one knows.
By now there have been released a lot of Surface competitors, for example the HP Spectre XP which has got a kickstand and a detachable keyboard. And this list goes on, from ASUS to Samsung, all have done such a Surface like Convertible already and now there is another company trying its luck with their device. We have reported about this convertible already, it’s simply called the V and is produced by EVE.
EVE is a Finnish company, more preciously from Helsinki and has once released a Windows tablet already. The EVE V will be the next big thing with a stunning design and awesome hardware variants.
EVE is a small group of Finnish enthusiasts which have brought up this project entirely on their own. After they had released the T1 one back in December 2014 they started their next project. While the development of such a device needs a lot of time it also needs some good finances. Therefor the company decided to fund this via crowdfunding. Here is a specification comparison between the EVE V with the Surface Pro 4, along with the Apple MacBook 12:

To summarize this comparison of specifications, the EVE V compares pretty well to its competitors. Probably the biggest problem will be that no one has ever heard about EVE. However, this can be changed starting with today, since you can now help EVE to get production started on the one hand by pre-ordering one of their devices and bundles available. On the other hand you can help EVE becoming a brand by pre-ordering on of their bundles since impressive numbers of preorders are always a good sign.
If you are interested in the EVE V, head over to Indiegogo where you can get more information on the Convertible and even pre-order it if you are feeling confident about the V. You can also have a look at their website or their community section where they are announcing new milestones and answer all kind of questions users have.
