TeamViewer is one of the most popular software offered for maintaining other PC’s remotely. It can be used for free and is very helpful either for helping out one of your family members or colleagues or for companies which have to maintain the PC’s of their employees. Especially if you have to maintain a lot of PC’s or if there is quite some distance between the PC you want to have a look at and your place since you can do this remotely from your PC.
Now, it is one thing to be able to connect to other PC’s to have a look at what’s going wrong with them or simply install a new software or similar. However, a market which continues to grow is the smartphone market. PC sales are shrinking, while smartphones are still a very important market for tech companies. That might be the reason why TeamViewer has now introduced a new beta version of their software which allows remote connection between smartphones.
While this might not be too revolutionary in the consumer area, companies might be very happy to see this new feature. While this is not something which is compromising your privacy since to have to allow such a connection, it can be very helpful if you are facing a problem with your smartphone. It can then be simply maintained remotely without the need to do that face to face.
Team Viewer 12 is currently still in beta and can be downloaded from the official website. If you are interested in the new beta app for Windows 10 Mobile, you can download it via the desktop application.
What are our readers thinking about that? Of course there are plenty of remote apps in the Windows app store, though TeamViewer is the first one to allow remote connections between phones.
