TD Bank has been the latest to add support for Microsoft Wallet in US. Now users can add their TD Bank Visa cards to their Wallets, and use them at places which support Microsoft Wallet or Contactless payment.
Microsoft Wallet was introduced in June 2016 for Windows Mobile. It lets you store your credit or debit cards, be it Visa or Mastercard, all at one place. Most of the popular retailers accept tap-to-pay Microsoft Wallet payment. As of now, it’s only available the region US and on select phones right now, such as Lumia 650, 650 Dual SIM, 950 and 950 XL.
To add your TD Bank Visa card to wallet, follow these steps :
Pick your TD Bank Visa card.
Make sure you have a compatible device running Windows 10 software and click on the Microsoft Wallet app. Then with the app open, tap the + sign in the app and follow the instructions to add your card.
With your card added, you’re now ready to make purchases in-store. Simply tap your device to the contactless payment terminal and authorize payment with your PIN.
Banks including PNC Bank, Bank of America, BECU, First Tech, People’s United Bank, US bank, Virginia Credit Union already support Microsoft Wallet in US, now TD Bank has been the lastest addition to the league. Chase and Fifth Third Bank will also add their support soon, expected early next year.
