One more app is joining in the Windows Phone hating apps. Kakao Talk will shut down their app on Windows Phone in December 5. Starting December 5, you won’t be able to open Kakao Talk service in your Windows Phone app.
In fact, it is one of the most unstable app in Windows phone platform. The developers are not updating the app with the latest Microsoft tools and SDKs. Now they are quitting the service as they can’t serve Windows phone better.
The official announcement:
It’s with heavy hearts we announce that we will be officially ending support for KakaoTalk for Windows Phone as of December 5, 2016.
Please note that you will not be able to send or receive messages on KakaoTalk but still be able to read past messages in your chatrooms.
We suggest you keep your app installed if you wish to keep chats. You will not be unregistered from KakaoTalk even if we end the support for KakaoTalk on Windows Phone.
