Redstone ( codenamed after a block in Minecraft ) builds are supposed to be released twice in a year. Thus this year there were supposed to be to Redstone updates, but Microsoft delayed Redstone 2 build to next year.
Next Windows 10 update, Redstone 2 is now anticipated to be released in March 2017, as Zac Bowden atWindowsCentral reports. A user at twitter named h0x0d spotted references to version 1703, which is correct to his knowledge.
He further adds that Redstone 3 is due summer next year, Redstone 4 is to be released in 2018. This leaves quite a gap between the two builds, in which users can expect to see a lot of changes and addition in Windows.
The development of Windows 10 is continuously going on, and Insiders can expect to see new features soon in upcoming insider builds. With Microsoft delivering broken updates for Windows 10 in the past, it would be interseting to see How this one turns out.
