Almost exactly one year ago Microsoft released Windows 10. Therefor the company announced, that the next big update will be called Anniversary Update and will be released one year after the release. However it seems like the ‘Anniversary Update’ will be late to the birthday party. Because of the name everyone assumed the update to be released on the 29th of July this year. This would make sense since Windows 10 has been released on the 29th of July 2015, however things are a bit different at Microsoft.
Either Microsoft is going to give an extended birthday which will last for several days or the main guest of the part will come late. Either way, the update will not be released on the 29th of July as expected, but rather on the 2nd of August. About 2 hours ago this Microsoft website contained some information about the new update.
The article was empty, however the heading suggested that the update will be released on the 2nd of August. This is indeed kind of surprising and doesn’t make sense at a first glance. At a second? Well… maybe, anyway we will keep you updated on this and once the article goes live we are going to write about it.
