Last Wednesday the annual Computex conference took place in Taipei. At this conference various giant tech companies are having a keynote, kind of obvious that Microsoft can’t be missing there. The keynote from Microsoft mainly dealt with the new possibilities which virtual reality is offering. The company announced that they will be offering their VR operating system for various OEM’s who are interested in developing such virtual reality goggles or other virtual reality devices.
With this step Microsoft is enabling ‘Windows Holographic’ for other OEM’s so that they can manufacture devices with this operating system like they are doing it with computer’s and laptops for years. Apart from that there have been also shown new devices from OEM’s which included 2-in-1 Convertibles, gaming devices and Laptops. Furthermore Microsoft is taking a look at Windows with the Internet of Things (IoT)
