Samsung’s last year flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S6 is yet to get future software update like Android Marshmallow on popular carrier including, T-Mobile. Over last few weeks, Samsung has tried their best to upgrade, Galaxy S6 devices from Android 5.0 Lollipop to Android 6.0 Marshmallow in several regions and carriers.
T-Mobile, popular USA carrier is now looking to roll out Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to their Samsung Galaxy S6 users, pretty sooner than what we expected. When, we visit T-Mobile official website, its confirms that the company has already testing Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. After some days of testing, Galaxy S6 users will hopefully begin receiving notification regarding Android 6.0 update is now available for their respective devices.
For those who looking to purchase the device, The Samsung Galaxy S6 packs 5.1 inches display (~70.7% screen-to-body ratio), boosted with Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display and covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The display on Samsung Galaxy S6 offers resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels (~577 ppi pixel density). The device is powered by Quad-core 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 & Quad-core 2.1 GHz Cortex-A57 chips with Mali-T760MP8, GPU.
The company is also providing different variants of Galaxy S6 with 32/64/128 GB internal storage options and 3GB of RAM for each model. On camera part, you will get 16 MP on back with OIS, autofocus and LED flash support. The Samsung Galaxy S6 also packs 5MP front shooter which is enough good to take selfie images.
