Microsoft has pushed out an update to its Phone app on Windows Phones running Windows 10 Mobile OS, the new version is now 2.15.9015.0 and there is one major fix that comes with this update and that is the dial pad.
If you are using a Windows 10 Mobile on a phone with a screen size of 5inch or more, then you know that when set the display resolution to its lowest (300%), the dial pad scales down too, this makes it really difficult to key in digits from the dial pad. This latest update now scales the dial pad properly so even though you set your display to its lowest, the dial pad doesn’t scale down too.

As you can see the dial pad is really small, but on the right is the new update, showing the dial pad still retains its size even after scaling down the display.
This DialPad fix has already been implemented in Windows Phones running Redstone builds (Windows Insiders). So this fix is for non-insiders using the 10586.xx builds (like Lumia 950, 950XL, 650…)
