It’s Valentine’s Day, and that means we are only 8 days away from the kickoff of the biggest cell-phone conference in the world, Mobile World Congress.
Those set to unveil their new offerings at the event include those such as LG and HTC, but the big player everyone is really waiting for Samsung. sIt has been all but confirmed that they will be debuting the Samsung Galaxy S7 at the event, and we’re more antsy than a kid on Christmas morning to check out the specs. The leaks have been pouring in like mad over the last couple of weeks, but yesterday we got the kicker; full front and back shots of the device in all three available colors. The design choice is interesting to say the least, evolving from last year’s premium Galaxy S6 design and adding rounded corners and a more “melted over” edge than last year’s iteration. The device reminds me of the Galaxy S3, which I owned myself for a couple of years. The screen appears to have less bezel than it’s predecessor as well, and that can never be a bad thing.
Pictures can only reveal so much though, and we’ll have to wait until we can get a unit in hand to really decide if it was a change worth waiting for.
