Almost a year ago, Joe Belfiore introduced Spotlight, a new feature to the lockscreen on Windows 10 PCs/Tablets that can display visually stunning images (like Bing’s image of the day) and also make recommendations (apps).
If you own a windows 10 device, you probably noticed that once in a while, you get a lockscreen showcasing an app, for instance, here is one recommending the app “Fresh Paint”
Or you could get visually stunning images like the one below…
These images come and go, you will definitely fall in love with them, so you may be wondering, how do I keep images I really love? Well,, there’s an app for that, a universal app!
It’s called SpotBright.
SpotBright is a universal app that downloads all the spotlight images and allows you to change your Lockscreen AND Startscreen on your desktop or on your phone with these images periodically (in intervals of 15mins, 30mins, 1hr, 2hrs, 6hrs, 12hrs or once a day).
But that’s not all, it also gives you the option to download the images in either landscape (for desktop) or in portrait (for Windows 10 Mobile)
Here are a few sample screenshots I’ve got using the app…
You can download thee Spotbright app from the Windows Store
