Two days ago the Vaio announced their first Windows 10 Mobile device the Vaio Phone Biz along with a couple of other Windows 10 device. The Japan Times which is a Japanese News site was at the launch event where Vaio introduced this new phone. Gladly they have also done a quick hands on video and uploaded it to YouTube os that we can have a closer look at the new phone.
The Vaio Phone Biz comes with a sleek beautifully crafted aluminium body. In the video the great design work of this phone is visible even better. Vaio has also included the Continuum feature in the Phone Biz which was introduced by Microsoft with Windows 10 Mobile. While the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are supporting the Continuum feature with a display dock, the Vaio Phone Biz is supporting Continuum Mode only via a wireless connection. Unfortunately this feature was not demoed by Vaio at the launch event in Japan.
Here are the specifications of the phone once again:
- 5.5-inch LCD with Full HD (1920x1080px) resolution
- Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor (1.5GHz + 1.2GHz)
- 3GB RAM
- 16GB storage (plus microSD card support up to 64GB)

- 5MP front-facing camera
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac

In case you are interested in the Vaio Phone Biz, Vaio is planning to sell this device in two versions, with a sim lock for carriers as well as unlocked. Though the device will be probably working only with japanese networks so don’t get too excited about buying this phone if you are not living in Japan.
