Starting today, when you search for “Weather” on your Android device, or ask Google what the weather is like, you’ll see a whole slew of new information like detailed forecasts, weather alerts, sunset times, and so much more, all bundled within lots of new animations and designs. Previously, weather was bundled within the google news app, or portrayed in a simple but dull graphic within Google search. With the new update, however, Google is updating your weather experience to give you detailed information up to 10 days ahead of time.
The new update is coming to us as v22.214.171.124, and if you don’t have it yet you can always sideload the ARM64 version via this link. The update should be rolling out to the Google search app on Android over the next couple of days, though it should be hitting the Google Search beta testers first. Once you get it, go try it out and tell us what you think!
