Following up on our coverage of the Lumia 650 release currently slated for February 1st, a new detail has leaked filling in the only gap that was really missing: the price.
According to a smartphone carrier residing in the Czech Republic, the device will be priced at $222 USD. That’s a pretty decent price for a new device, which has decent specs for a low-end handset. As a recap, the phone features:
- Windows 10 Mobile
- Colors: Matte White or Matte Black
- 5-inch 720p display
- Snapdragon 210 or 212 processor
- 1GB of RAM
- 8GB of storage with micro SD expansion
- 5MP front-facing camera; 8MP rear with LED flash
- No wireless charging (could change)
For a starting price of $222, which will surely drop lower due to carrier deals and the like, that’s not too bad of a device to have as a backup or even just something to fiddle around with. Now that we know almost everything about the handset, there isn’t exactly much to speculate on, so let’s just wait for the official announcement from Microsoft.
