I remember the first time I discovered I could install an app on my phone by clicking install on my computer. At the time, this feature was revolutionary. Since I primarily use my computer to find new exciting apps to try out anyways, the ability to do everything directly from there was absolutely fantastic.
It’s been a long time since the release of this feature, but it looks like Google is looking to streamline the experience even more, by letting users install new apps directly from search results. By implementing this feature into mobile devices, Google is killing another step in the process, allowing you to stay within your browser instead of jumping between that and the play store.
This method should come in handy for anyone researching apps, as they can read reviews and immediately install without having to jump to the app store. Pretty nifty.
Anyone else seeing the update?
