In the last couple of years, HTC has said that it would be one of the first to update its devices to the Newest versions of Android. Though it’s hasn’t exactly followed through with that claim on all of it’s devices, it seems they are finally starting to roll out Marshmallow to devices on select networks.
Starting next week, HTC will be rolling out the update to owners of the One M9 on Sasktel, Rogers, Wind, and Videotron. Additionally, HTC’s One M8 devices in the US will be receiving the update within the next week if they are on Sprint, while T-Mobile should be coming on January 25th.
It’s always good to see android updates being supported in a timely manner, and even if HTC didn’t deliver as fast as they initially said, better late than never.
Is your device getting updated?
