Interesting news came out of AT&T this morning, as they have announced they have partnered with the ride-sharing company Uber.
Adding to the list of cooperative ventures, AT&T is looking to tap the already huge market of Uber drivers, offering them 1GB of free data when they sign up for the “AT&T Work” platform.
Quoting Abhil Ingle, AT&T’s senior vice president of Big Data and advanced solutions,
This new option for Uber driver-partners shows how AT&T Work Platform can address both traditional businesses and the unique needs of people working in the sharing economy. It also shows the versatility of AT&T’s Work Platform.
