Windows 10 has been released by Microsoft already and however there are still two operating systems which Microsoft is working on. On the one hand of course Windows 10 for Xbox and on the other hand Windows 10 Mobile. Since the tech company from Redmond is still struggling a bit with the market share of their mobile operating system it is important to bring a great Windows 10 experience to their smartphones without any compromises. In order to achieve this goal they have announced the Windows Insider Program which is available for the desktop version of Windows 10 and for the mobile version of Windows 10.
Just a few days ago Microsoft has released a new Build of the Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build, this time it is Build 10549 and while this version doesn’t bring a long list of new features it is bringing a long list of fixes and stability improvements. The previous Build was very stable already, Build 10536, so you might be wondering if this is finally a Build which is running smooth enough to use it as a daily driver. Therefor we have done a quick speed comparison between Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile so that you can get an impression of the current status of the operating system.
If you are interested in the new features Microsoft has implemented in Build 10549 you can have a look at the Hands On Video which we have published on YouTube and you can also head over to another article which is revealing a sort of ‘Phablet Feature’ which allows to enjoy the phablet features of Windows 10 Mobile even on devices which are not categorized as a Phablet like my Nokia Lumia 930.
The embed video below is the speed comparison which I was talking about.
As always, you can of course drop me a comment below with you feedback about this video and your opinion on the latest Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview Build. Stay tuned for more Microsoft related news in the future and stay save.
