The as yet unannounced Lumia 940 (or will it be 950?) along with the XL variant has been the attention of quite a lot of rumours, leaks and renders over the last few months, and the latest comes from chinese tech site ithome.com which claims Microsoft’s future flagships codenamed Talkman and Cityman will be equipped with fast charging capable of regaining 80% battery life in 25 minutes.
If all the rumours are true then Microsoft are pulling out all the stops with the Lumia 940/950 and the larger 940/950XL, a QHD (1440*2160 5.2/5.7 inch display) octacore Snapdragon processors, and Windows 10 Mobile operating system.
The Lumia 2520 Windows RT tablet, which came from the same team responsible for Cityman and Talkman, was kitted out with fast charging, so to see it on the next line of flagship Lumia devices isn’t beyond the realms of possibility. We should know for sure when the device is finally launch, probably in October.
