The Computex 2015 expo kicked off today in Taipei, and ASUS was all about Zensation
ASUS is not new to the convertible laptop/tablet hybrid PC’s, so it was no surprise when the company launched their newest Transformer Book, the T100HA.
The device is a nice upgrade from the previous iteration, packed with the latest and greatest tech including Intel’s latest Atom x5 “Cherry Trail” processor, the new USB Type-C, and a 14 hour long battery. The T100HA comes in 4 colors- Rouge Pink, Aqua Blue, Silk White and Tin Gray, and will run Windows 10 out of the box.
ASUS hasn’t announced a release date for the new convertible, but have said that it should be available in the 3rd quarter and with a price point that will reportedly start at just $279!
Here are the known specs for the Transformer Book T100HA:
-
10.1″ WXGA (1280×800) ISP LCD display
-
Quad-core Intel Atom x5 CPU (1.84 or 2.24GHz)
-
2/4GB RAM
-
32/64/128 GB of internal storage
-
USB 3.1 Type-C, MicroUSB
-
8.54mm thick
-
580 grams (tablet mode), 1.27lbs (laptop mode)
-

As a fan of ASUS, I am pretty excited about the new Transformer Book, and hope to see these upgrades in a 13″ model as well.
