It looks like AT&T is looking to get into the physical hardware business, and this first entry isn’t too shabby. AT&T’s TREK HD tablet is a mid ranged device at a low price, and it sports some features that other manufacturers seem to miss out on themselves. Sporting a 4060 mAh battery and a Snapdragon 400 processor, AT&T looks to be pushing the limits of what a “mid ranged device” really means. The tablet also comes with a 5mp back end camera and a 2mp front camera for video calls among other things.

If you’re interested, you’ll be able to pick up the device for $49.99 on contract with a new 2 year agreement on ATT.com starting May 12th & in AT&T stores nationwide starting May 15th.
