With MWC starting tomorrow there is a lot of anticipation of new devices being launched. Along with that are the usual leaks, some more credible than others. We can however be pretty confident of this latest one as it actually comes from Microsoft themselves!
Microsoft’s News Center jumped the gun a little today, publishing a post which revealed two devices they have planned for Mobile World Congress, the Lumia 640 and 640 XL. The post consisted of just the heading which read “Microsoft Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL: keeping you prepared for anything” while no text or pictures had been added.
We have heard of the Lumia 640 before, NokiaPowerUser published some specifications which included a 5 inch 720p display, an 8.7MP rear and 0.9MP front camera, it is powered by a quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU and will have 1GB of RAM. Read all the leaked specs on NPU HERE.
It will be interesting to see what the 640 XL is, perhaps a 6 inch display. We will keep you informed of what Microsoft release at MWC, find out how you can follow it yourself HERE.
The offending article on the News Center has now been removed, but you can see a cached page HERE.
