Razer is going to release a Smartband soon, obviously. The Smartband has checked in at FCC already a few days ago and now the company has also released the two companion apps for all major smartphone operating systems. And when I say all three major OS’s I mean that the two companion apps are also for Windows Phone available, which is great.
The two apps are called Nabu Fitness and Nabu Utility, the Nabu Fitness app is for tracking sports activities like for example how many steps you have made today or how many calories you have burned during your sports activity, all things like that. While the Nabu Utility app is made for configuring and customizing the notifications and more of your Smartband once you have got one.
So Razer has already released the two companion apps for Windows Phone iOS and Android. They have even launched the official Razer Nabu website already. Therefor a launch event in the upcoming days would be realistic, what do you think will this be a competitor for the recently launched Microsoft Band. The Razer Nabu is also available in two different sizes like the Microsoft Band and it is a pure sports activities tracker, tough Razer has not announced a price for the device yet and 199$ for the Microsoft Band is not really expensive. So let me know what you think of this upcoming Smartband from Razer below in comments.
