Microsoft Studios once was producing the popular and everywhere known strategy game row, called ‘Age of Empires’. The last game of this row was Age of Empires III and Microsoft has not yet said if they are planning to continue this successful game row anytime soon, well at least not at the PC because there is a ‘Free To Play Mobile Strategy Game’ on the way for the smartphone, Age of Empires: World Domination.
Initially the game has been announced a few moths ago with the comment that the game will be available in Summer 2014, but unfortunately the developers now said that the release date will be rescheduled to Fall 2014 so this means September / October to me, still not long to wait for it anymore. However here is the official statement of the developers:
To all our fans eagerly anticipating the release of Age of Empires: World Domination – in the past months, our development team has been working hard on the game as well as releasing snippets of the game to you all. We have also been listening to what you, the gamers, have to say. To reflect those changes, we will unfortunately be pushing back the release of the game to fall 2014. We believe that the extra development time will give us the opportunity to create a first-rate mobile game experience that players will love.
Thank you for your patience, and we will make a further announcement when an official release date has been decided.
In the official comment they are talking about that they have listened to gamers and have built in their ideas and because of this it took them longer than expected, this sounds good lets hope they will release a great strategy game, which will be available cross platform for Windows Phone, iOS and Android. What do you think of this game, let me know below in comments.
