It seems a release of the device won’t take long any more. The device should be announced on the 4th of September in Berlin, at least for the Nokia Lumia 730 by Microsoft, it passed the FCC certification recently. The certification shows the Lumia 730 in a 1:1 Scale. In the US it will be the RM-1038 variant which you can see below.
Globally the variant RM-1040 will be released as the Nokia Lumia 730, as you can see below.
The FCC certification does not only show the device itself, i also shows that it will support NFC which is of course great, for a middle class device. Below you can also see the networks which the US device will support.
Maybe we will also see the already leaked Nokia Lumia 830 passing FCC certification soon.
Another picture of the Nokia Lumia 730 in FCC certification appeared today, this time it is showing that the device will also feature dual SIM support. Below on the picture you can see the label with SIM 1 and SIM 2 written on it. This will be the RM-1040 model on the other hand to the device with one SIM slot which will be RM-1038 model.
We already now from earlier leaks that the device has currently the codename ‘Superman’ and it will be the follow up model to the Nokia Lumia 720, however WPCentral has got a bit more information about the device read out from the FCC documents, according to them the device will have the following specs:
- 4.7-inch (likely FWVGA at 854 x 480, but possibly 720P)
- 1 GB RAM
- Quad Core processor
- 8GB internal storage
- Micro SD support up to 128 GB
- 6.1 MP rear camera
- 5MP front camera
- Dual SIM
- No dedicated camera button
So what do you think of the device, do you like it, let me know in comments below.
