The Lumia Cyan update appears to have rolled out to AT&T branded/locked Nokia Lumia 1520’s, which brings with it the much awaited official release of Windows Phone 8.1 and new features like Cortana and Word Flow with Shape Writing.
It would appear however that AT&T 1520’s which already have the 8.1 Developer Preview will not be able to install Lumia Cyan. This will hopefully change sometime in the future, but users who wish to take their Lumia devices with a Preview for Developers back to the previous Consumer Release firmware can do so using the Nokia Software Recovery Tool (available HERE).
You should get a notification on your 1520 when the Lumia Cyan update is ready, but you can check for yourself by going to your Settings menu and scrolling down to Phone Update then pressing the “check for updates” box.
Let us know what you think of the Lumia Cyan update, if you have installed it on your device.
