The Conversations blog has announced the Nokia Lumia 530, a budget friendly Windows Phone 8.1 device which should start arriving in markets in August. The price before taxes and subsidies is €85 meaning it should sell for less than €100.
Like the Lumia 630, the 530 has a 4 inch 854×480 display, and also uses on screen virtual control buttons. It is powered by a Quad core 1.2 Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and has 512mb of RAM. There is also 4GB of built in storage with support for micro SD cards up to 128GB. There is no front facing camera but it does have a 5 megapixel camera on the back. The 530, which replaces the very popular 520, has removable casing which comes in orange, Green, white and black. There is both a single sim and dual sim version of the 530.
Along with the Lumia 530 Conversations announced a new Coloud Bang Mini Speaker which can connect to the 530 (and any other device) with a 3.5mm jack. This is expected to go on sale “in the coming weeks”.
Conversations has posted this hands on video of the Lumia 530 with Adam Giles which you can watch below.
