The NokiaPowerUser blog has found some information which suggests that the final version of Windows Phone 8.1 (or possibly in the first GDR Update) will have the ability to create folders on your Start Screen by simply dragging one Live Tile onto another.
NPU has shared what looks like a screen shot of a Microsoft guide to the new Folders functionality, which appears to be a big improvement on the current solution, built by Nokia exclusively for Lumia devices which is available in the Windows Phone Store HERE, called App Folders (see our video review on it HERE). While App Folders does allow you to group apps together there have been some criticism about how it works, and there is no way of seeing when tiles in an App Folder has a notification, hopefully this new native Folder will improve on this (though Action Center does help with this anyway).
