Extensive examination subsequently associates the timer on the Nokia Conversation site to the launch of a new device, I don’t think it is the Windows Phone 8.1 deployment (Software upgrade to the clients) for the reason that there has never been a deployment event for an Operating System. So will it be the superman? Tesla? Rock? or is it the Mclaren?
For those who are not sure what it is about, Nokia has planned an event on 24th June 2014 which is just 3 days from now however we are not sure what it is about. Nokia Conversation has placed a countdown timer to the event on their site.
Back to Square One!
There has never been a deployment event for Mobile OS, I have just seen launch events so far. So it’s not going to be Windows Phone 8.1!
Will it be the 930?
I do not think so, since the Nokia Lumia 930 has already been launched and waiting for it to hit the stores. Furthermore, there wouldn’t be an event to inform the availability of the Nokia Lumia 930. This is dropped too.
so I reckon
this must be something to do with a new launch. Then again, we recently heard about a list of devices Nokia is going to bring into being like the Lumia 530, Tesla, Superman and McLaren but we haven’t got a single leak about these devices.
After following a line of investigations, I am thinking that it must be the Nokia X II like the other bloggers and folks! :p
The Envy Green color makes a clear indication of Android powered Nokia phone, which evidently means, Nokia X II is debuting in just 3 days from now.
Very recently, Nokia X2DS (RM-1013) was listed on the AnTuTu benchmark site along with some detailed specifications but we are not sure if it is running the forked Android or WP 8.1. Since the WP 8.1 deployment has been postponed to July, we are getting closer to what the 24th June is all about! This is yet another hold up for the X II.
What does the X II have?
Now that we are to some extent sure about the Nokia X II launch, we will take a look at the specs. The Nokia X II was allegedly spotted with a 4.3 inch display, 1.2GHz Dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8x10 (Qualcomm Snapdragon 200) processor with Adreno 305 GPU, 1GB of RAM, 4GB of built-in storage with expandable storage slots, 5MP rear camera and 0.3MP Front Facing Camera. This is also said to run the AOSP Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) presumably upgradable to Kitkat.
This dual-sim phone is going to be a tough competitor for the Moto E.
It is quite surprising about the Microsoft’s launch event for an Android phone!
Hold your horses,
as we are not sure about what is going to happen on 24th June 12:30 pm IST however evidences are apparently pointing towards the New Nokia X II. Nokia surprisingly releasing an android app adds more flavor to this info. We will keep you posted on further updates while you stay connected to the Nokia Innovation!
