Nokia Innovation have been lucky enough to get a chance to review the new Lumia 630, announced during Microsoft’s Build conference by Stephen Elop, and the first port of call was a speed comparison with the Lumia 1020.
These two devices have some big differences in hardware, with the 1020 running on a 1.5 Ghz Dual core CPU while the 630 has 1.2 Ghz Quad core. 2 GB of RAM on the 1020 against just 512 MB on the 630. The Lumia 630 comes with Windows Phone 8.1 out of the box, while the Lumia 1020 has the 8.1 Developer Preview. What effect will these differing specs have on performance? You will just have to watch for yourself.
