Stephen Elop Announces Lumia 930, 630 & 635 at Build 2014


Build 2014 is well under way in San Fransisco, which saw the launches of Windows Phone 8.1 along with Cortana voice assistant.

This was followed by Stephen Elop taking to the stage to announce Nokia’s first Windows Phone 8.1 devices. The Lumia 930 was shown off first, looking very similar to the Lumia Icon, it features the same 2.2 Ghz Quad core Snapdragon 800 CPU, a 5 inch 1080p display and a 20 MP camera. It should go on sale in June and will be priced around $599 before tax or subsidies. It looks great!


The Lumia 635, which has a single sim card slot and the 630 which is a dual sim card version also got unveiled in five colours, red, yellow, green, black and white. It has a 1.2 Ghz quad core Snapdragon 400 CPU. Both the 630 and 635 will have a 4.5 inch 480×854 Clear black display It will go on sale in May, starting in Asia, prices will be for the 630 $159 and the 635 $169 before any tax or subsidies.
