Nokia teases its Android device!

It’s the green signal for Nokia and the company is all set to launch the new Nokia “Normandy” at the MWC 2014. Last week, Nokia turned Green on their Social Media and this is all for the “Normandy”. Now with the Evleaks on Social networks, it has become more evident that Nokia possibly will introduce the Low cost Android phone at the MWC 2014. Evleaks has seeped out an image of the Normandy yesterday and the Nokia conversation team has also teased it on their page.

Nokia X

We have got another image which depicts the name for Normandy. As the above image indicate the name as Nokia “X” the below image is also portraying the same name for the Normandy.

The arrows on the above picture spell the letter X, a green X!

This phone will reportedly run on a 1 GHz Dual Core Processor (Snapdragon) and also includes the following elements

  • 4-inch WVGA screen
  • 512MB of memory
  • 4GB of storage with micro SD expansion
  • 5-megapixel camera
  • A-GPS Support
  • WIFI 802.11 B/G/N, Hotspot
  • Bluetooth 4.0 with A2DP
  • 1500 mAh battery
  • Comes in Six-colors

The Nokia X is expected to run a “forked” version of Android (KitKat 4.4.2) that can run the regular android apps together with Nokia’s own apps. Consequently, there wouldn’t be any Google Services running on the phone however we do have Nokia’s own services and its own App store. The App store will be called Asha on Linux (AoL) within the company. Also, we have got new information that Nokia has started seeding the Nokia X codenamed Normandy, to developers in India to sow Apps on its app store. Thanks to BGR India for this information!

The price is still not confirmed however last week according to a leak from WMPoweruser, the price is expected to be around $110.

I am expecting this to be available by April 2014. Here are move pictures of the Nokia A110/Normandy/Nokia X!
