Nokia have introduced the BH-121 Bluetooth Stereo Headset to their range of accessories. We first saw the BH-121 back at the start of November, when evleaks tweeted a picture of what had been codenamed “Guru” (take a look HERE for a recap).
The BH-121 which measures just 39mm by 39mm, with a thickness of 12mm comes in traditional Nokia colours; cyan, black, yellow and red and feature a clip to attach it to your clothing. You can pair it with your Lumia device over NFC or Bluetooth (also works with non Nokia devices as well) and has a 3.5mm jack for your headphones. You can then control music tracks and volume from the BH-121. Nokia describes it’s features as follows:
The BH-121 comes with noise blocking in-ear headphones (WH-208) that provide a clear and powerful sound. However, the incorporated standard 3.5mm audio connector means that you can attach your favourite headphones, if you wish, and still use the BH-121′s controls.
Keeping track of the battery life is done via the indicator LED, but you can also do it via your Lumia. When connected to your phone you can interact with the BH-121 right from your Start screen from its very own Live tile.
yellow1You can check battery life and connectivity status for example.
The BH-121 supports advanced Bluetooth features like HFP/HSP and/or A2DP/AVRCP profiles. That includes the Nokia Lumia 1520, Lumia 1320, Lumia 1020, Lumia 925, 625, 525, and the Asha 503 and Asha 501 (without the Live tile support) and many more.
The BH-121 will have an RRP of €39 and will be on sale from December.
What’s more, Nokia Conversations have 5 of these cool little things to give away. They are asking you to tell them in the comments section of their post (reach it by clicking HERE) to say in as creative a way as possible, using “any media you like, i.e., YouTube, Vine, whatever” why you want one. The winners will be decided at the start of the new year. The best of luck if you take part in that.
