Chinese website CTech has leaked what it claims is an image of the back end of Nokia’s so far unannounced Windows RT tablet, the Lumia 2520 with what could be a kickstand.
The image, which only shows the bottom half of the device, has a definite cut out section which could be a fold out kick stand. Nokia have been known to put kickstands on their earlier series of Internet tablets, the N800, N850 and N900 (just because they don’t look like an iPad don’t mean they ain’t a tablet!) which you can see in the image below.
This does however contradict leaked images we saw back in August, also said to be of a Nokia tablet running Windows RT, which revealed a smooth back with no such cut outs.
We also saw the image below, again said to be a Nokia tablet, but with a Kickstand built in along with a keyboard.
Personally, I don’t think the latest leaks of the back of Nokia’s eagerly anticipated tablet fit in with the smooth lines we have become accustomed to with their range of Lumia devices. We will find out for sure on October 22nd when Nokia World takes place in Abu Dhabi.
