A photograph appearing to show Windows Phone 8.1, codenamed Blue, running on a Nokia Lumia 620 has been posted on XDA Developers Forum which, if authentic, reveals a Notification tile as well as deeper Skype integration into the platform.
The photograph was allegedly found on an SD card by XDA Forum member when I’m gone and shows the words “Microsoft Confidential” in the background.
A Notification centre is a much requested feature on Windows Phone, and if this photograph is of a legitimate build of Windows Phone 8.1, which will be a complete update of the OS, then many wishes should be granted. Personally I would love to see a Notification Centre to the left of the Live Tile, MeeGo Harmattan style, but a Live Tile would fit in more with the design of the platform.
