6tag (formerly 6tagram) Now In Windows Phone Store

6tag, Rudy Huyn’s full featured Instagram client is now available in store for Windows Phone 8 (no 7.5-7.8 support unfortunately), priced free.
The much anticipated app has been in beta for a few weeks under the name 6tagram, and for a third party Insta client on Windows Phone sets itself apart from the others due to it being more or less feature complete, video uploading and geotagging pictures is as far as I know a first. Also for the fact that it doesn’t charge or seem to support itself with ads.

I have installed the app, and was pleased to find I could create an account. I have so far resisted any of the other popular clients, such as Instance and Instagraph due to the fact that I probably won’t make a whole lot of use of it (it won’t replace my Twitter and Facebook live tiles on my home screen yet). If you want to follow me, my username is chriswwwright. You’ll find some other Nokia Innovation bloggers on the social network/photo sharing site, such as Jimmy, Lenny and Derrek, who is a particular fan.

In case you want to compare to Instance, which has 300,000 Windows Phone users, take a look at it in store HERE
And Instagraph is HERE
