Jason from Nokia USA sent me a few Man of Steel promotional items (t-shirt, CC3065 wireless charging case, DC16 extra power) for my T-Mobile exclusive Nokia Lumia 925.
The Lumia 925 doesn’t have built in wireless charging but similar to the Lumia 720, you can purchase a wireless charging shell (cc3064) for it. The Man of Steel branded wireless charging shell is black with a Superman logo on it (see pic below). Did I mention it is a limited edition cover?
I used to make fun of the design of the DC16 extra power when I first saw it during Nokia World 2011 and now I have 3 at home. The man of steel branded DC16 is black with the words ‘Man of Steel’. DC16 extra power allows you to fully charge your device on the fly by connecting the supplied micro USB cable to your device from the battery. Once it’s drained you can charge it via wall charger, or plugged in into your PC or Mac.
Here’s a Instagram video I uploaded earlier today:
The Nokia Lumia 925 can be yours for $0 down with a qualifying contract at T-Mobile. I have been enjoying the sturdy Nokia Lumia 925 with metal casing and polycarbonate back for over 3 weeks now. It’s definitely the thinnest Lumia 9xx and one more lens (total 6 lenses) than the Lumia 920 or Lumia 925. I like the AMOLED screen for the Lumia 925, one of the main features that was missing on the Lumia 920. Lumia 925 already comes with the latest Windows Phone (GDR2) which allows you to install smart cam and pro cam app.
Here’s the link to our Flickr set of some pics I took of the promo items. Hope you have enjoyed reading this article, let us know if you have any questions about the Lumia 925 or the accessories featured by leaving a comment below.
