Need A Stopwatch App? Avirall Is Free Until 7PM GMT Tonight

Sanjay of PilcrowApps has informed me that the very feature packed stopwatch app Avirall is free for a limited time only (7pm GMT). I don’t use a stopwatch app an awful lot in my daily life, but if I were going to, Avirall would certainly be one to consider. It has a really nice design with beautiful graphics, like the Quick Stopwatch, which has three hands, the seconds, minutes and hours hands each rotating accurately, and the three buttons above the stopwatch all do what they should, middle one starts and stops, right side gives you a lap time the left hand resets. There is also a count down timer which can be very useful for things like boiling eggs etc. There are lots more features which I am yet to try.

I have only been using it a short while and so far like what I see. This is a new app, currently in version 1.0.8 so expect some updates, like to the Live tile which at the moment isn’t Live. It would be nice to be able to keep track of your timer from the live tile. There are loads of setting to play with, like Auto Screen Locking options and allowing it to run in the background, which even when switched off, closing and re-opening the app brings the stopwatch back, still going. This doesn’t seem to be the case with the timer though, at least in my experience. There is nothing which can’t be fixed with an update, and even in its current form it is very usable and complete.
WPCentral have made a video on the app, which is on their YouTube Channel, watch it below.

If you want to get it for free before it goes to its normal price of $3.50 you need to act fast. Sanjay tells me the offer is only on until tonight, 7PM GMT.
Get it HERE in the sore.
