AT&T, Verizon and T-Mobile USA have got together and released a documentary looking at the dangers of texting and driving, which drives the message; It Can Wait. The 34 minute film by Werner Herzog features stories by people who have been involved in accidents. The write up on it is as follows:
AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile USA, Inc. and Verizon are launching a new documentary, One Second to the Next, highlighting the aftermath of texting and driving. Directed by acclaimed film maker, Werner Herzog, the documentary focuses on the stories of four individuals who have been involved or caused a texting and driving accident.
In the short film, Herzog expands on the stories he tells through the 30-second Driving It Can Waitspots launched in May by wireless carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile USA, Inc. and Verizon. By giving voice to the individuals who caused the accidents and the many people whose lives have forever been changed by them, Herzog shows the devastating aftermath that can be created when a driver turns their attention to a single, meaningless text. The documentary is available on ItCanWait.com along with the wireless carriers YouTube sites.
