According to Statcounter, nearly 25% of Finland’s mobile web browsing is done on a Windows Phone.
The stats, which track web traffic and which operating system is being used puts Windows Phone at 23.8% for all of August (a day and a half). Android has the highest share at 36.1% followed closely by iOS on 34.4%
Symbian still accounts for 3.5% of the traffic and S60 1.1%.
Nokia’s line of Lumia Windows Phones are the driving force behind the OS, and account for 85% of all sales, the number may even be higher in Finland.
This follows news that the Lumia 520 topped the best sellers list on Finland’s three main carriers.
