Ever thought how would the HTC One with a 4MP camera would challenge the Nokia Lumia 920 with a 8MP camera. Well you’re in luck. I just happen to have the HTC One which I did a Video Shootout in the middle of Times Square NYC against the Nokia Lumia 920.
Tale of the Tape:
HTC One has a 4MP camera (Ultrapixel) with video recording at 1080p@30fps, 720p@60fps, HDR, stereo sound rec., video stabilization
Nokia Lumia 920 has 8MP camera (Pureview) with video recording at 1080p@30fps, video stabilization (OIS)
Without further delay.. Lets start the Shootout.. We start with the HTC One
HTC One
Nokia Lumia 920
There you go. I am no Video Expert so I can’t pick which phone deserved the Video Recording Crown. But I have to give the HTC One a credit. When I say I can’t pick, that means the HTC One has put up a good fight. Remember this phone only has a 4MP camera. But I still can’t decide which phone produced the best quality. To me their both Winners. 🙂
What do you guys think? Let us know.. Nokia Lumia 920 OR HTC One
UPDATE: I was just advised by our Editor In Chief that the Lumia 920 records video in 720p in default.
My Video shootout was base on a Consumer Point of view situation. Mass consumer do not pull out their phones adjust the settings of their video recording and start shooting. The mass consumers usually relies on Default settings. You pull out your phone and start recording.
