I purchased a brand new T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 521, which arrived to my doorstep just in time for a trip up to Lake Mohonk Mountain House in upstate New York this past weekend. As a long time Nokia enthusiast and an owner of a number of Nokia models, I was intrigued by this impossibly low-priced handset, which actually cost less than a Benjamin sans-contract, including tax and shipping from well known TV shopping vendor. My first order of the day: use the opportunity to capture some snaps of my trip. To my amazement, the Lumia 521, which lists a rather pedestrian 5 megapixel shooter on the list of specs, took impressively colorful and sharp photos. The camera button on the side of the handset ensured easy access to the camera mode even from the lock screen. Take a look at the attached gallery of
photos and, enjoy some of the sights of summer courtesy of the 521.
