After a couple days of leaked photos and specs, the Lumia 625 has officially been announced by Nokia. The official specs match that of those leaked beforehand:
- 4.7” LCD screen (201ppi)
- 4G banding
- Unique semi-transparent design with changeable shells in 5 exciting colors (Orange, bright green, yellow, white, and black)
- 512 MB of RAM
- 8GB of internal memory (MicroSD support up to 64GB)
- 1.2 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 (MSM 8930)
- 5 MP camera sensor with LED Flash
- 1080p video at 30fps
- Front facing VGA camera
- 2000mAh integrated battery (up to 15.2 hours (3G))
- 133.25 x 72.25 x 9.15 mm
Dubbed the “hero of the big screen”, it also comes with the Nokia Smart Camera app, as well as the Lumia Color profile, Bluetooth 4.0, and a sensitive touch screen found on most Lumia WP8 devices. It is powered by the latest version of Windows Phone 8 (GDR2), including the Nokia Lumia Amber update.

If you’re looking to pick up the device, you won’t have to wait long as the device will be shipped in Q3 (likely in September) with a price of €220 before any local taxes or operator subsidies. Nokia is planned to begin selling the Lumia 625 in China, Europe, Asia Pacific, India, Middle East, Africa and Latin America. So tell us, are you going to pick one up?
