This is somewhat old news, but it’s worth mentioning for those concerned. The guys over at WMPoweruser got a tip from a reader that Wells Fargo, a major US bank, has stated once again (more or less) their commitment to release an app for Windows Phone sometime in the future. This is good news, as customers such as myself are stuck using the web-based mobile application, which leaves a lot to be desired. Hopefully the experience on Windows Phone will match or surpass that of iOS and/or Android. I’ve already heard that the Chase Bank mobile app definitely beats the pants off of the Android version, which is reputedly clunky and slow (à la Android 2.2).
